Embedded Software Engineer
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer to be part of our accomplished engineering team. The candidate will develop for C/C++ for micro-controller, ARM, and Linux embedded systems. The selected individual will work as part of an engineering team on a variety of challenging projects and activities focused largely on low-level embedded software development spanning the entire engineering life-cycle from research to maintenance. This person will also provide support to hardware personnel in support of solution development and production release. The successful candidate will research, develop, and integrate device driver firmware for embedded platforms.
Test Automation Engineer
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Systems Engineer to be part of our accomplished engineering team. The candidate will be the lead in ensuring quality releases of WISER’s software through testing and validation. They will be responsible for developing and documenting test plans, writing automated tests, manual testing of features as needed, timely triage of customer issues, interacting with customers and assisting with IT support within the company. They will be expected to work closely with software development engineers to ensure timely and quality releases of our software products. Individual will manage testing and validation of software developed in QT and Visual Studio that runs on Windows, Android and iOS. Individual is expected to develop a suite of automated tests including functional tests, performance and GUI tests. Individual will also maintain a Jenkins server, review/validate code on the WISER repository and be responsible for generating reports from nightly automated testing of the main integration branch. Further, the individual will be responsible for ensuring releases have been thoroughly validated before shipping to customer by tracking validation progress in Jira.
Front-End Design/ Mobile Applications Development Engineer
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Front-End Applications Engineer to be part of our accomplished engineering team. The candidate will contribute toward all aspects of our cross-platform client software including development, GUIs, design, distribution via app stores, and testing. Development will be based off of QT’s cross-platform development language, QML, and C++. You will be responsible for both designing and developing features that function across Windows, Android, and iOS. You will further be the responsible for developing functional tests of features as needed, timely triage of customer issues, and system documentation. As part of a small team, you will be expected to work closely with other software development engineers to ensure quality releases of our software products.
Hardware Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Hardware Design / Manufacturing Engineer to be part of our accomplished engineering team. The candidate will take on a dual role, first being responsible for designing PCBAs for our real-time location system products; and second, serving as manufacturing lead for the WISER product line. The candidate will need to understand interfacing to microcontrollers and other digital and analog sensor devices. Experience in discrete RF component design is preferred. As part of a small, dynamic engineering team, the individual will be a key contributor assisting in the design and development of new products with a focus on manufacturability.
Mechanical Product / Design / Manufacturing Engineer
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Mechanical Product / Design / Manufacturing Engineer to be part of our accomplished engineering team. The candidate will take on the dual role of designing the mechanical aspects of our new products in addition to being the lead in manufacturing and maintaining our products during their lifetime.
Technician
WISER Systems is seeking a talented, motivated candidate for a full-time Assembly, Test, and Shipping Technician position. Responsibilities include checking and testing product, maintaining accurate counts of inventory, kitting and shipping product out, and maintaining a neat and orderly environment within the lab and inventory space. Testing of product and quality assurance is also expected. As issues arise, a keen grasp of problem identification and troubleshooting is desired.
Sales and Technical Support Engineer
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Sales Engineer who enjoys the fast pace of a rapidly growing SaaS company. Qualified individuals would be responsible for understanding all the technical aspects of the WISER Locator system and explaining it to potential consumers. Duties include consulting on product development, explaining product features to customers during live in-person or virtual demonstrations. In addition, assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to WISER Locator hardware or software. The successful candidate will engage customers in-person, by telephone, email, and communicating with them through messaging platforms. Duties will include helping customers diagnose technical issues over the phone and guiding them through hardware and software installation and troubleshooting user issues.
Technical Support Sales Associate
WISER Systems is seeking a talented and highly motivated Technical Support Sales Associate who enjoys the fast pace of a rapidly growing SaaS company. The qualified candidate would be responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to WISER Locator hardware or software. Duties include conducting virtual hardware and software demonstrations, taking phone calls and emails from customers, and/or communicating with them through messaging platforms. The successful candidate will help customers diagnose technical issues over the phone and provide technical support in the installation of hardware and software in their facilities.
