WISER Systems, Inc. Issued Five New Patents in Twelve Months
The Raleigh, NC based company now has a total of 19 patents in its intellectual property portfolio.
RALEIGH, NC, November 29, 2022 — Last month WISER Systems, a North Carolina based leading provider of real-time location and tracking systems (RTLS), was awarded the fifth of five new patents in the past twelve months for WISER’s proprietary ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning system.
The new patent brings WISER’s intellectual property portfolio total to nineteen, with an additional eight patents pending. A developer of both innovative hardware and software solutions, WISER’s current projects center on creating new Redundant Radio Localization & Tracking (RRLT) hardware and software algorithms, enhancing system precision and utility, and expanding the application of the WISER technology across even more industries and use cases.
WISER’s recent awards have addressed innovations ranging from automatic antenna calibration and atomic clock synchronization to determining the location of unknown devices in a synchronized environment.
“We are very proud of the fact that we now have five more patents to add to our impressive portfolio,” WISER’s CEO Dr. Elaine Rideout commented. “We have one of the leading engineering teams in UWB real time location and tracking in the world today and I believe these patents lend credence to that assertion,” she added.
"We continue to keep innovation as our number one priority,” said Dr. Seth Hollar, CTO and primary inventor of WISER’s RRLT technology. “From our beginning as a company, we've been developing novel solutions to improve accuracy and performance to be the best in our field in localization.”
